Commissions

Masquerade Minis Studio commissions process:
Due to the amount of time and focus I invest in a project once underway, and to ensure all clients receive the attention they deserve, slots are limited so please contact me for scheduling and availability.

I will paint any miniatures you wish, to a suitable tabletop standard with as quick a turnaround as possible. You will receive frequent (weekly at a minimum) progress updates with photos of your commission, as well as active engagement during the entire process so we can work together to deliver a product you will be pleased to have for your games.

All quotes are based on a $10/hr rate, with 50% + shipping to be paid before work begins on the project, the last 50% + return shipping is to be paid upon completion. Please note, assembly of miniatures is a time consuming process. Should assembly be required, the client should allow for a minimum of 1 hour per 5 miniatures to be included in the estimate. It is preferred that models are provided at least 90% assembled and unprimed prior to delivery.

As each project is as different as the models being painted, the time to complete each job will vary wildly. Best efforts will be made to complete commissions by the agreed upon deadline. Barring any unforeseen circumstance, all efforts will be made to communicate delays of the deadline to the client, with the understanding that all commission deadlines are tentative. It is the policy of Masquerade Miniature Studio to make the best effort to complete commissions within the estimated time frame and quoted price. Once a price has been quoted as long as it is accurate and includes all items in the commission that price will be upheld, even if there any additional cost increases. Any additional items will use the corrected pricing.

(Example: A client commissions a Leviathan Dreadnought to be built and based. Initial estimate is 10 hours for the entire project for a total cost of $200 + shipping. However, an item of this size in actuality takes 11 hours to complete. The client will be charged the originally quoted $200, and then $220 for any additional items of this type added in the future.)

Once the client makes final payment, including all PayPal fees, the items will be varnished and shipped via the most cost effective method for the client.
